When it comes to the recruitment process in the franchise industry, ensuring potential franchisees receive and complete their assessments is crucial. At FranchiseLab, we're committed to providing seamless communication between franchisors and candidates. However, email deliverability issues can be a significant hurdle. That's why we've introduced a reliable solution: the shareable assessment link feature on our FranchiseLab Recruiter platform. This feature is particularly beneficial in ensuring that assessments reach your candidates without delay.
Access the Candidate’s Application: Navigate to the Application & view the Information Request or Self Assessment sharing block on the candidate you wish to send an assessment to.
Open the Share Link Window: Click on the "Share" button, which will open a window containing a unique URL for the assessment.
Copy the Assessment Link: Click the “Copy” button next to the URL. This action copies the link to your clipboard.
Send the Link Directly: Paste the copied link into a direct communication channel with the candidate. This could be a personal email, a text message, a direct message on social platforms, or any other secure messaging service. Optionally, you can run the link through a URL shortener service such as Bit.ly to shorten the URL.
Follow-Up: After sending the link, follow up with the candidate to confirm they’ve received it and to provide any necessary support as they complete the assessment.
When to Use the "Copy Link" Feature
Immediate Delivery
The "Copy Link" function is your go-to tool for when you need to guarantee that an invitation is delivered instantly. It bypasses any potential email delays, placing control back in your hands.
Unconfirmed Receipt
If a candidate has not acknowledged the receipt of the assessment email, the "Copy Link" option allows you to resend the invitation directly, reducing the chance of it being missed or lost among other emails.
Priority Leads
For high-priority candidates, a direct approach can make all the difference. Sharing the assessment link personally can enhance the candidate’s experience and express the value you place on their potential engagement.
Addressing Email Deliverability Challenges
We have noticed that some email providers, especially Microsoft's email systems such as Office 365 and Outlook.com, have been filtering our assessment invitation emails into spam or quarantine folders. This is a part of an industry-wide challenge as email services enhance their algorithms to combat spam and phishing.
To ensure our clients are empowered and not disadvantaged by these email security measures, the "Copy Link" feature provides an alternative pathway to reach candidates.
