Meet Scout: Seminole County’s New On-Demand Ride Service (Powered by Freebee)

Getting around Seminole County just got easier. Scout is Seminole County’s new on-demand rideshare service, powered by Freebee. It’s simple, affordable, and designed to take you where you need to go, on your schedule.


How It Works

  • No fixed routes or stops: You choose your pickup and drop-off location.

  • Book a ride:

    1. Download the Ride Freebee app (iOS or Android).

    2. Enter your payment info.

    3. Set pickup + destination, review fare and wait time, and confirm.

    4. Track your driver in real-time.

No smartphone? Call (407) 665-RIDE (7433) to request a ride.


Service Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 5 AM – 9 PM

  • Saturday: 6 AM – 10 PM

  • Sunday: 6 AM – 8 PM

Scout covers five service zones across Seminole County:

  • Monroe (Sanford)

  • Lake Mary

  • Howell (Winter Springs/Casselberry)

  • Brantley (Altamonte/Longwood)

  • Econ (Oviedo)

How long will I wait?
Scout aims to keep wait times under 30 minutes.

Do I need a child safety seat?
Yes. Riders must provide and secure their own child seats/boosters as required by Florida law. Scout will provide booster seats for passengers who meet the legal criteria.

Can I schedule in advance?
No, Scout is fully on-demand. Request when you’re ready to ride.
