At Freedom Forever, we pride ourselves on being one of the fastest and most reliable solar installers in the industry. From the moment you sign your contract, our team works to keep your installation on track and on time — with full transparency every step of the way.

We also offer a user-friendly customer portal so you can monitor your installation progress and ask questions at any time.

🔹 Step 1: Sign Your Contract

Once you decide to go solar with Freedom Forever, your journey officially begins. As soon as your contract is signed, we’ll immediately schedule your site audit — no delays.

Why this matters:
Many installers wait days or even weeks to schedule this initial step. We don’t. Our fast scheduling helps speed up the entire process.

🔹 Step 2: Access Your Customer Portal

After signing up, you’ll receive a link to create your Freedom Forever Customer Portal account. Inside the portal, you can:

  • See real-time updates on your installation progress

  • Ask questions and get support

  • Access your documents and project timeline

🔹 Step 3: Site Audit

A Freedom Forever site auditor will visit your property to gather key information for system design — including your roof, electric panel, and meter location.

What you need to do:
Ensure access to your roof and electric meter. You usually don’t need to be home during this appointment.

🔹 Step 4: Permit Submission

Once we’ve designed your solar system, we submit the plans to your local city or municipality for approval. This step can vary depending on your local permitting office.

What you need to do:
Nothing! We handle the entire permitting process for you.

🔹 Step 5: Installation Day

After permits are approved, we’ll schedule your solar installation. In most cases, the installation takes just one to two days.

What you need to do:
Again, ensure we have access to the roof and electric meter. You do not need to be present during the installation.

🔹 Step 6: Inspection

Following installation, your city or municipality will conduct an inspection to make sure everything meets code.

A Freedom Forever representative will be present to assist. If any changes are required, we’ll handle them promptly and reschedule.

What you need to do:
Make sure the outside of your home is accessible for the inspector.

🔹 Step 7: Permission to Operate (PTO)

After your system passes inspection, we request Permission to Operate (PTO) from your utility company. Once approved, we’ll switch on your system and notify you — you’re now generating clean solar energy!

🕒 Note: While PTO is typically granted within a few days, it can take longer if your local utility is experiencing backlogs.

🔹 After PTO: 25 Years of Monitoring and Support

Your Freedom Forever journey doesn’t end when your system turns on — in fact, it’s just getting started.

Here’s what we provide:

  • Performance monitoring for 25 years

  • Mobile software to track your energy production

  • Proactive support if your system underperforms

  • Compensation for production shortfalls (if caused by Freedom Forever)

This is all covered under our 25-Year Production Guarantee — our promise that your system will perform as promised, or we’ll make it right.
