How to set up Automatic Card Payments

Enable this setting to ensure your customer has to enter a credit card to order, meaning you get paid on time!

Connect to Stripe

If you have already connected to Stripe, you can skip this step

  1. In order to be able to receive payments made by credit card, you first must Connect to Stripe. Click on the menu in the top right corner, then click Selling Settings, navigate to the tab titled Payments

  2. Click on Set up Payments

  3. You will be taken directly to Stripe to fill out your details, enter your mobile number and email. You will receive a verification code to proceed to filling out your details

  4. Fill out the forms as instructed on Stripe, once you have connected you be able to view your payments dashboard via Selling Settings>Payments

Enable automatic payments and pass fees on to the customer

  1. Automatic Payments must be enabled per customer. Navigate to Customers, then select a customer

  2. Click Payment Settings

  3. Tick a Charge card to enable Automatic Payments. To pass the processing fee on to the customer, tick Charge customer card fee. Click Save Settings

  4. A green tick will be displayed next to the customer name indicating they are enabled for Automatic Payments.

Adding card details

You can add your customers credit/debit card details to charge through Fresho. Click on Payment Methods and click on Add Card, enter in the card details and click Add Card to save the card details.


​Note: When Automatic Payments is enabled, all future invoices will be automatically charged based on payment terms. If the customer has not yet entered their payment card details into Fresho, they will be required to before they place their next order.
