Well-trained employees are more confident and competent when serving customers, and they are more likely to stick around for longer. So it's important as a team leader to inspire and motivate your team members to keep learning and upskilling themselves.

Here are our top five recommendations to encourage your team to get onto frntlne (and to become the top store on the leaderboard!).

1. Explain the benefits of frntlne

frntlne is not your usual learning platform. We're different. 😎 Here is how to introduce us to your team:

frntlne is a new, innovative learning platform for retailer staff where you can

  • earn as you learn about the products you sell in store. Plus receive product samples to try out!

  • learn at your own pace, wherever and whenever works for you on your phone or desktop

  • learn by watching short videos and answering quick questionnaires

  • and get certified for any course you complete.

2. Make training part of your team culture

  • Register every (new) team member πŸ‘‰ How to get started on frntlne

  • Set a team goal and encourage each other to complete courses

  • Ask team members to share insights and new learnings with each other

  • Lead by example and get to know the frntlne platform and its courses well

  • Make the importance of product education known and clear to the team:

3. Give your team members the time and space to learn

Whether that is .... while commuting to work, during a tea or lunch break or during a quiet moment in store. Some store managers even offer their team some dedicated learning time during work hours!

4. Check-in regularly on progress

  • Set up a leaderboard to see progress on every team member and on the team as whole

  • Check in regularly on how everyone is tracking - a quick 5 minute meeting is all you need!

  • Set a weekly team goal

  • Encourage and coach team members who are lagging behind

5. Recognise, encourage, celebrate and reward πŸŽ‰

Celebrate and reward the top performers or when your team goals has been achieved. An applause, a small gift or even team lunch can go a long way!
