To ensure fairness, FrodoBots uses the pooled-average method for prize distribution when players tie. This prevents unusual outcomes (e.g., a solo 3rd place earning more than tied 1st place).
When two or more players tie, their respective prize slots are combined into a pool. That pool is then divided equally among the tied players. If the pool does not divide evenly, the remainder is distributed pro-rata.
Examples:
Scenario 1 β Tie for 2nd & 3rd (even split)
A wins 1st β $500
B & C tie for 2nd/3rd β pool ($300 + $100 = $400) Γ· 2 = $200 each
Scenario 2 β Tie for 1st & 2nd (even split)
A & B tie for 1st/2nd β pool ($500 + $300 = $800) Γ· 2 = $400 each
C takes 3rd β $100
Scenario 3 β 3-way tie for 2ndβ4th (not divisible)
A wins 1st β $500
B, C, D tie for 2ndβ4th β pool ($300 + $100 + $0 = $400) Γ· 3 = $133 each

[DURING COMPETITION]
Owners are responsible for ensuring their bot remains online and operational.
Physical manipulation is prohibited unless the bot flips over. If your bot flips, you must restore it to an upright position promptly. Shifting or moving the bot otherwise is not allowed. Any signs of cheating will result in disqualification.
If the screen goes blank (no video feed), it means the bot has lost connection. Refresh only if feed is frozen for >10 seconds (not repeatedly)
(see screenshot below) Feed is blank despite 4G icon and battery showing β issue is on the bot owner's end (AI loop, camera, etc.), not FrodoBots server.
If the feed is down for over 3 minutes, the bot will be disqualified β from the entire competition, including Round 2.
[AFTER COMPETITION]
Token rewards will be sent to the winner(s)β wallet within ~1 week
In rare cases where a rematch may be justified, players can submit an appeal.
We value your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts and suggestions to help improve the competition experience for everyone!
Communication should be respectful, as verbal abuse will not be tolerated.
