Yodlee Aggregation
Yodlee APIs are standard across the platform, however, the mechanism they use to fetch the data from an end site might vary depending on how the Financial Institution would want Yodlee to access their systems. This will vary across account types and providers, for example, a Superannuation account would have a refresh frequency of Monthly (as the data would not change as frequently as an everyday account).
Refresh the Schedule for Providers
While refreshing an account, Yodlee’s systems would also set the next refresh date/time for the same account. The next refresh would happen based on this. Refresh schedule could vary depending on what type of an account it is (Bank, Loan, Credit Card) OR how active the user is on the platform etc. The nightly cache refreshes are typically done once a day.
Below the logic for the refresh process:
Account Type | Low Frequency | Refresh Frequency |
Loan | 0 to 30 day active users | Weekly |
Mortgage | 0 to 30 day active users | Weekly |
Insurance | 0 to 30 day active users | Weekly |
Bills | 0 to 30 day active users | Weekly |
Non-Finance | 0 to 30 day active users | Weekly |
Loan | 30 to 90 day active users | Fortnightly |
Mortgage | 30 to 90 day active users | Fortnightly |
Insurance | 30 to 90 day active users | Fortnightly |
Bills | 30 to 90 day active users | Fortnightly |
Non-Finance | 30 to 90 day active users | Fortnightly |
NOTE: Refreshes are stopped for users inactive for over 90 days. |
