Payments get processed in your PMS via the Payments link in any reservation, or the POS tab.

To get payment information, the best report to run is the

This report gives you detailed information about each payment that has been recorded in the PMS for the selected date range.

The report can also be filtered by one or more users. This is particularly useful if you want to reconcile each front desk agent cash drawer at the end of their shifts.

If your PMS is integrated with a payment gateway, you might want to reconcile gateway's and PMS' payment reports.

Another report will be useful to find out information about payments:

This report, differently from the Cashier Report, gives you more broad information about payments. It gives you information about the payment, but it checks against a specific reservation date: this enables the report to tell if the payment (deposit) is applied or not.

The Payment and Deposits report also gives you quick information about reservation, like guest name and reservation balance.

Speaking about deposits, Frontdesk Anywhere gives you two reports that are specific for payments meant as deposits.
A deposit can be Advanced if it goes for a future reservation, hence the name 'advanced'.
A deposit can be Applied if the reservation is in the past or it is currently in-house: in other words, if it goes to pay services/goods that your guests have already consumed.

To find out if payments are applied or advanced, check out this report:

This report gives you detailed information about reservations revenue, and it checks it against stay dates to give you information about how much deposit is advanced versus applied.

Another report will list all advanced deposits, without any other specification: this report is useful to find out how much money you have in the bank that is not yet final.

This report is focused on payment timestamp and date, value and reservation where it is applied.
