If a rate is not showing in your reservation folio or IBE, then it means something is off with the configuration.
Please follow these steps to ensure that all is set up correctly:
In the Rate Class configuration screen click on the link Edit:
Ensure that the Rate Type is set to option Nightly, and that the Stay Lenght At Least field is set to 1
If the rate is not configured as Nightly and as Stay Length = 1, then this might be the reason why the rate is not showing.
Solution: you can revert the rate to be a Nightly one with the Stay Lenght set as '1' to solve the issue. However, if you want to keep this configuration, then try making a reservation by using the top calendars on top of your Tape Chart:
If you are looking on IBE, then set your dates to reflect the multiple nights configuration.
Dates Missing in Season Periods: in the Rate Edit Configuration, look for the Season Period that contains the date you are looking for, and ensure the pricing is correctly set.
Open the Season Code to ensure all days of the week are priced:
You might have different season periods per day of the week, so ensure to double check that all dates and days of the week are taken into account in the Season Periods:
Solution: if you found a missing date or a missing day of the week, proceed to set the price correctly and fill the gap. Then, try to make a reservation again or look for the rate on IBE.
Channels: it might be that your rate is not being applied to the right channel. Remember that Frontdesk represents your internal Tape Chart, and IBE is the booking engine:
Solution: ensure the right channel is checked and click SAVE to update the PMS.
Room Types: is your rate correctly applied to the right room types?
In the Rate Editor, ensure that the room type you are testing the rate with are actually receiving the rate:
Solution: check the boxes corrsponding to the right room types.
Stay Restrictions: is the rate not appearing because there are stay restrictions in action?
To check on this, go to the link Stay Restriction under section Rates of the Admin Settings.
Look for the period you are not seeing the rate appearing, and see if there is any Stay Restriction active for those dates:
If you find a Stay Restriction that applies to those dates, then check if the configuration of the stay restriction is actually creating problems with the rate on IBE.
Solution: edit the stay restriction to enable display of the rate. If you do not wish to do this, then the fact that the system is not showing the rate is probably the way the system is working.
