If you are going to be integrating with Booking.com and/or Expedia direct, please read the information below.
Integrations with channels enable you to receive all bookings made on the channel directly in the PMS and rates and availability stay in sync automatically, saving you a lot of time and reducing human error.
Integrations are one-to-one between one Frontdesk Anywhere PMS and one Expedia/BDC account. It is not possible to link multiple Expedia/BDC accounts to one PMS, nor it is possible to link multiple PMS account to one channel. Please note that this is not a fault of a PMS, it is simply how the channels handle their cnnections.
If you want to integrate with a channel, please send a request to integrations@frontdeskanywhere.com
The Integration Team will need the room types correspondence between the PMS and the channel. Room Types on the channel often have different names than the ones in the PMS. You can speed up the process for the integration by clicking on the link OTA/GDS Mapping under section Integrations. For each channel you are integrating with, click on its link. In section GDS Room Types, click on the button Add New:
Find the room type you want to link, and in the box GDS Mapping place the name of the room type as it appears on the channel.
Do not worry about any other information or boxes as these are only for the Integration Team.
Important Note: do not place any credentials or Property Code in the top panel, as you might risk to turn on the integration too soon!
Aside from Room Types, our team will also need information as to what rate class should be linked for each room type. In the OTA Mapping screen, there is a section called GDS Rate Types: just as you did with Room Types, do the same for the rates to be connected ensuring only to map master rates and not derived. Click on Add New, and then place in the box GDS Mapping the name of the rate as it appears on the channel.
When you contact our Integration Team, ensure to give out the credentials for your Expedia and Booking.com extranet so our team can look at the channel configuration and set it up correctly in the PMS.
