Update Reservation Status

Reservation Status can be updated to RELEASE, RESERVE, HOLD, CANCELLATION. Canceled Reservation is able to reinstate to reserved reservation

HOW TO PUT RESERVATION ON HOLD STATUS

When reservation is not confirmed or waiting for finalization from booker and reservation department. You can put the reservation on hold status. Hotel availability will be deducted by hold reservation

All new reservation will be automatically put on HOLD status, once reservation is completed, you can select a type of reservation by the list of status at bottom of the screen

SAVE --> put reservation on HOLD status

RESERVE --> put reservation on RESERVED status (confirmed)

RELEASE --> put reservation on RELEASED status

CLOSE --> reservation will be automatically released within 5 minutes by system

HOW TO TURN HOLD RESERVATION TO RESERVED RESERVATION

select HOLD reservation --> select RESERVE at the bottom of screen --> new window will popup with a choice of CONFIRM and CANCEL --> selected reservation will be turned to RESERVED status

HOW TO TURN RESERVED RESERVATION TO CANCELED RESERVATION

select RESERVED reservation --> select CANCEL RESERVATION at the bottom of screen

--> put CANCELLATION REASON --> select CONFIRM

HOW TO REINSTATE CANCELED RESERVATION TO RESEVED RESERVATION

select CANCELED reservation --> select REVERT at the bottom of screen--> select CONFIRM

REMARK

RELEASED reservation cannot be reinstated to any status

It is important to keep in mind that if you are trying to reinstate a cancelled booking, you will need to make sure that the specific room to which the booking was assigned is available for the selected date range; if the room is not available for the reservation dates, the system will display error
