Learn how to restrict availability or rates on Frontdesk Anywhere!
What Are Stay Restrictions
Stay Restrictions is the place in your Frontdesk Anywhere account where you will be able to place minimum or maximum stay requirements and close outs. These actions are all on rate level: for any configured rate, you can define a minimum stay lenght for guests booking it or prevent guests from booking that rate altogether.
select Settings --> select on the link Stay Restrictions under section RATES
New window will popup as below
select RATE CODE --> select ROOM TYPE --> select period of Stay Restriction --> enter Stay Restriction CODE --> select Channels --> setup restrictions
Choice of Stay Restrictions
Min LOS - minimum stay: enter the number of night for each day of the week
Max LOS - maximum stay: enter the number of night for each day of the week
Close On Arrival - not allowing guest to check in on each day of the week: select the box on each day of the week
Closed On Departure - not allowing guest to check out on each day of the week: select the box on each day of the week
Min Offset - is the number of days that the booking can be made before of the arrival date.
This means Min Offset is defining the number of days, weeks, months…
Example: Early Bird promotion (lower prices for those who book 2 months pre arrival)
We would then set Min Offset to be 2 months and that would mean that rate with this Stay Restriction is offered only to those who book for arrival after 2 months of the day of booking. (This rate is available 2 months prior selected setting date)
Max offset - is the number of days after which is not possible to make booking.
If Max Offset is 1 month than the rate with this Stay Restriction is not offered for dates after that period. (This rate is available only 1 month after selected setting date)
Example: Last Minute (lower prices for booking 2 days pre arrival)
We would then set Max offset to be 2 days and that would mean that this rate would only be offered to those who try to book 2 or less days pre arrival.
