If you are booking your Functional Skills exam and have additional needs or a disability which means that you may need any additional time or any reasonable adjustments making then please contact us upon your purchase of the exam.
To request additional time or reasonable adjustments then we need to submit a request to Open Awards with details of the exact adjustments that you may need and any additional time.
To submit the request then we will need:
A current and up-to-date copy of your EHCP - this must state and detail the adjustments needed
Medical reports
Diagnostic assessments
Any other reports or documents which can support the request for the additional time and adjustments
Once we receive the documents supporting the application for additional time and reasonable adjustments, we will submit the request to Open Awards.
Once we have an outcome of whether the additional time and reasonable adjustments have been granted, then we can go ahead and book the exam for a minimum of 20 working days ahead.
