Transition from Simulated Accounts to the Professional Stage

Updated this week

At Funded Futures Family (FFF), progression from Evaluation or Simulated Funded Accounts advances into the Professional Stage — FFF’s structured live market trading framework. This stage is designed to bridge evaluation performance with professional-level trading under institutional risk standards while maintaining continuity of risk parameters and performance metrics.

Overview of the Professional Stage

The Professional Stage represents FFF’s live market trading framework and serves as the structured progression beyond Evaluation and Simulated Funded Accounts. Traders entering this stage operate under professional-level risk parameters, institutional oversight, and real withdrawal eligibility within a controlled execution structure.

The Professional Stage functions as a single account framework that operates across two consecutive execution environments:

  • Pro Environment (Tradovate Infrastructure)

  • Live Market Execution Environment (Rithmic Infrastructure)

All traders entering the Professional Stage begin in the Pro execution environment. Direct transitions from Evaluation or Simulated Funded Accounts into the Live Market Execution Environment do not occur.

The transition between execution environments does not constitute a new account, reset of performance, or change in program rules. Drawdown parameters, scaling structure, withdrawal policies, and performance metrics remain continuous throughout the Professional Stage.

Progression flow:

Evaluation Accounts / Simulated Funded Accounts → Professional Stage (Pro Execution Environment → Live Market Execution Environment)

Transition Process

When a trader qualifies for the Professional Stage, Existing Evaluation and Simulated Funded Accounts will be closed as part of the transition process while the Live Desk provides next steps and onboarding documents.

Accounts in transition are not available for trading during processing. This status remains in effect until the trader accepts the Professional Stage invitation or the transition window expires.

Eligibility Criteria

Entry into the Professional Stage is not automatic. Qualification is primarily based on demonstrated consistency, strong performance, and disciplined execution within the Simulated Funded environment. Traders must exhibit stable profitability, controlled drawdown behavior, and adherence to structured risk management principles over time.

In addition to sustained performance quality, traders must meet one of the following quantitative benchmarks:

  • Completion of a minimum of three (3) approved payouts within the Simulated Funded environment.

    OR

  • A minimum of $10,000 in total approved payouts within the Simulated Funded environment.

Meeting the quantitative thresholds alone does not guarantee advancement. Final eligibility also requires verification of responsible risk management practices and overall trading stability under professional-level conditions.

Upon reaching the defined quantitative benchmarks, accounts may enter a structured Transition Qualification Phase prior to Professional allocation. This review period is designed to confirm performance consistency, capital stability, and progression readiness before final advancement.

During this phase, eligibility for additional Simulated payouts may be paused while the transition review process is completed and progression into the Professional Stage is evaluated.

Advancement decisions are based on structured capital review standards and are not determined solely by elapsed time.

Pro Account (First Stage of the Professional Stage)

The Pro Account is not created automatically. Before issuance, the trader must provide explicit written acceptance via email, confirming their intent to proceed into the Professional Stage and acknowledging the applicable operational expectations.

Failure to respond within the required timeframe may result in loss of eligibility.

Pro Account Recognized Profit Cap

Within the Pro execution environment (Tradovate), a recognized profit threshold of $5,000 serves as the operational migration trigger within the Professional Stage.

Once $5,000 in net profit has been reached, the account becomes eligible for migration to the Rithmic execution environment within the Professional Stage.

The recognized profit belongs to the trader and remains subject to the Professional Stage withdrawal policy. This threshold is used solely to coordinate progression within the Professional Stage and does not represent a limitation on trader profitability.

Transition to the Live Market Execution Environment (Second Phase)

Migration from the Pro execution environment to the Live Market Execution Environment is structured and conditional upon meeting established Professional Stage criteria.

Migration eligibility may be triggered by either of the following:

  • Submitting a withdrawal request under Professional Stage withdrawal policies

  • Reaching the $5,000 recognized profit threshold within the Pro environment

Either condition may initiate the migration review process.

Upon meeting these conditions, the account enters an operational migration process. This process coordinates the technical transition to Rithmic infrastructure and completion of required broker documentation.

Migration eligibility does not guarantee immediate activation. Accounts may enter an operational preparation period while required documentation is completed and broker processing is finalized.

Balance Continuity During Migration

Migration between environments does not create a new account and does not reset performance metrics. Certain operational parameters, including Daily Loss Limit structure, may be adjusted by the Risk Management Team where required for infrastructure alignment.

The recognized profit accumulated within the Pro environment remains attributed to the same Professional Stage account.

If no withdrawals were made prior to migration, the full recognized balance continues into the Live Market Execution Environment.

If withdrawals were made prior to migration, the account continues with the remaining net recognized balance after withdrawals.

All drawdown parameters, scaling status, performance history, and profit calculations remain continuous throughout the migration process.

Live Market Execution Environment Onboarding

Activation of the Live Market Execution Environment (Rithmic infrastructure) requires completion of mandatory onboarding documentation and broker processing.

Execution Infrastructure: Rithmic
Market Data: Not included; traders must select and subscribe to data services independently
Activation Timeline: Dependent on documentation completion and broker processing capacity

Incomplete or missing documentation may delay activation of the Live Market Execution Environment.

The Professional Stage operates as a single account lifecycle that progresses through two execution environments: the Pro execution environment and the Live Market Execution Environment.

Migration between environments does not create a new account and does not reset performance metrics.

The recognized profit cap applies only within the Pro execution environment. No environment-based profit cap applies once operating under the Live Market Execution Environment.

All accounts remain subject to ongoing monitoring by the Live Desk and Risk Management Team.

Communication and Response Timelines

All Professional Stage communications are handled via email through the Live Desk.

Traders must respond to migration and onboarding communications within seven (7) days. Extended non-response may result in loss of placement within the Professional Stage. After thirty (30) days without response, migration may be canceled.

These timelines apply to communications related to execution environment migration and onboarding requirements and do not limit Live Desk authority under the Activity & Inactivity Policy. Full expectations are outlined in the Activity & Inactivity Policy. here.

Discretion and Risk Oversight

All progression and migration activity within the Professional Stage remains subject to Live Desk risk oversight and compliance review.

FFF reserves the right to delay or coordinate migration timing to ensure performance integrity, risk compliance, and operational readiness. FFF may require additional performance validation or documentation where necessary to uphold Professional Stage standards.

Failure to maintain compliance with program rules, risk parameters, or communication requirements may result in delayed migration, adjustment of progression timing, or cancellation under applicable policies.

Professional Capital Allocation & Re-Entry Policy

Funded Futures Family structures its funding model to promote long-term trader development and responsible capital alignment.

The Simulated Funded environment is designed as a performance validation stage and not as a long-term capital allocation environment. While traders may generate approved payouts within SIM, the Professional Stage represents the intended pathway for sustained capital growth and structured scaling.

Where patterns indicate repeated participation in the Simulated Funded environment without progression into the Professional Stage, or recurring migration cycles without performance stability, the Live Desk may initiate a structured capital alignment review to determine appropriate progression within the program.

This review may also apply in cases where performance demonstrates material inconsistency between SIM and Professional environments, indicating a need for reassessment prior to continued advancement.

As part of this process, FFF may:

Adjust continued eligibility within the Simulated environment
Require progression benchmarks toward Professional Stage participation
Redirect approved SIM payouts toward Professional Stage capital development
Implement structured performance conditions prior to continued participation

These measures are not punitive in nature but are intended to preserve program sustainability, ensure responsible capital deployment, and align trader growth with long-term funding objectives.

Important Notes

Evaluation and Simulated Funded participation are designed as performance validation stages and are not intended as permanent trading environments within the FFF funding framework.

Progression into the Professional Stage represents the structured pathway for continued capital development. Entry into the Live Market Execution Environment occurs only after participation in the Pro execution environment.

Professional Stage participation requires timely communication and compliance with onboarding and migration requirements. Failure to respond within established timelines may result in forfeiture of placement or eligibility under applicable policies.

Failure to respond to required migration or onboarding communications within established timelines may result in loss of placement within the Professional Stage.
