At FundedSquad, giveaway accounts — whether you are a giveaway winner or a giveaway host — are subject to a payout cap policy. This article explains how the cap works, what it means for your payouts, and includes examples to help you understand exactly what to expect.
Both giveaway winners and giveaway host accounts are subject to a 3% payout cap per payout cycle. Any profits exceeding 3% of your account size during a payout cycle will not be counted toward your payout.
Giveaway Winners
If you won a FundedSquad giveaway, you will receive a challenge or two-step account. These accounts follow a bi-weekly payout cycle, meaning you are eligible to request a payout every 14 days.
During each payout cycle, the maximum profit you can receive is capped at 3% of your account size. Any profits made above this 3% threshold within that cycle will not be included in your payout.
Example — Giveaway Winner:
• Account size: $10,000
• 3% payout cap: $300
• Profit made in the payout cycle: $600
• Payout you will receive: $300 (the remaining $300 above the cap is not counted)
Giveaway Host Accounts
The same 3% payout cap per payout cycle also applies to giveaway host accounts. Regardless of how much profit is generated during the cycle, the maximum payout per cycle is limited to 3% of the account size.
Example — Giveaway Host:
• Account size: $25,000
• 3% payout cap: $750
• Profit made in the payout cycle: $1,500
• Payout you will receive: $750 (the remaining $750 above the cap is not counted)
The 3% payout cap applies to every payout cycle — not your total account profits. Profits above the cap in one cycle do not carry over to the next cycle. Please factor this into your trading plan when managing a giveaway account.
