What you can't see

Whenever you submit a transaction on checkout, we complete a series of on-chain and off-chain payment orchestration actions to communicate between blockchains, downstream providers, and the connected dApp. Each added step introduces complexity that can lengthen the time to receive your crypto.

How to check the status of your transaction
Once the transaction has started processing, you can check its status through the following methods:
Wallet / Exchange / Card
You should see a screen which shows that your transaction is still processing with a countdown timer.
2. Once the transaction is completed, the deposit widget should show that it's successful. You can also click on more details and check if the transaction is completed on the block explorer.
Transfer Crypto
Post-transaction submission, there will be a pop-up notification where you can see the transaction details and on-chain data.
2. Once your transaction is completed, there will be another pop-up stating that the deposit is completed.
How long do transactions typically take?
The time it takes for your transaction to settle/complete is influenced heavily by the payment method selected, blockchain network congestion, and complexity of the on-chain routing required.
Once Checkout successfully registers your assets as being received, we will aim to complete your transaction within the following timeframes:
PAYMENT METHOD | EXPECTED SETTLEMENT TIME |
On-chain/wallet deposits | < 2 mins |
Card deposits | < 3 mins |
Exchange deposits | < 4 mins |
Non-successful transactions
Transactions may be delayed or fail for a number of reasons. Our focus is ensuring your transaction completes successfully at the price you were quoted.
For non-successful transactions, your status page will display different states based on how long it has been since you submitted the order:
< 35 mins (Delayed): The pop-up will show deposit received and processing, but the deposit completed pop-up does not appear.
> 35 mins delays: Any orders that haven't been received after 35 minutes will expire. In these instances, open a ticket by clicking on the icon on the bottom right of the screen. The Fun engineering team will investigate the issue and work to process the transaction.
Still having problems?
Have funds been sent?
Check to see if the funds have left your account. You should have the transaction hash of your completed transaction showing that the funds have been sent to the address provided on the deposit screen.
If you're sending funds from an exchange, there may be instances where it takes some time for the exchanges to sent the funds out. You should be able to see the transaction hash once the transaction is completed.
Are you connected to the same wallet?
Please check that you are connected to the correct wallet where you sent the funds to, if not you will not be able to see your funds.
Have you sent the right funds?
