What is the Max Position Limit, and how does it affect my trading?
Updated over 3 months ago

This breakdown shows the Max Position Limits for different account types and contract sizes, ensuring traders manage risk effectively.

Starter Accounts:

  • $50,000 Starter → 3 mini / 30 micro

  • $100,000 Starter → 7 mini / 70 micro

  • $150,000 Starter → 12 mini / 120 micro

Expert Accounts:

  • $50,000 Expert → 5 mini / 50 micro

  • $100,000 Expert → 10 mini / 100 micro

  • $150,000 Expert → 15 mini / 150 micro

Special Cases: MBT & MET follow a 1:1 ratio (same micro as mini contracts per account size), while Silver (SIL) follows a 1:5 ratio. All other micro contracts are 1:10.

These limits help prevent over-leveraging by restricting the number of open contracts a trader can hold based on their account type.
