When you connect your email account to Fyxer AI, here’s how we treat your existing setup:
Gmail:
Manual labels and folders: Fyxer AI does not consider manually applied labels or folder structures when scanning the first 300 emails. These are treated as separate from Fyxer AI's categorization system.
Automatic rules: Gmail rules (filters) that move emails to specific folders before they enter the inbox can override Fyxer's categorization - those emails won’t be touched or re-categorized by Fyxer.
Outlook:
Inbox/Sent Only: Fyxer AI only scans and categorizes emails that land in your Inbox or Sent Items folders.
Respect for existing rules: If you have Outlook rules that automatically move emails to folders, Fyxer AI will not interfere. Those emails are skipped by design, meaning we don’t override your existing system.
Fyxer AI works alongside your current setup without disrupting personal folders or email rules. If emails are filtered out of the inbox by your rules, Fyxer AI leaves them alone.
