This article shows you how you can view your players' reactions live or after gameplay.

Once you have published your game, shared it with learners either using Instant Sessions or Custom Sessions and learners have started playing, you have the option to monitor your game sessions live. Here is how to do it.

1. Make sure you’re in the Workspace of the game you want to monitor.

2. On the upper menu, you will see the Sessions button, click on it.

3. On the new window, you will see at the very top the name of the Workspace you are reviewing the sessions for. Right below that, you will see two options Custom Game Sessions and Instant Game Sessions.

This is a reference to Instant and Custom sessions, choose whichever type of sessions you want to review.

Reviewing Custom Sessions or Instant Sessions

To review Custom Sessions or Instant Sessions you have to follow the same steps. You just have to choose which sessions you want to review, by clicking on each option, select and show the sessions.

On the new window, you will see a list of all the instant sessions for that workspace and on top of that 3 boxes with analytics information regarding the instant sessions.

  • Games Played: The first box, Games Played is the number of Instant Sessions games that have been initiated from games on that Workspace.

  • Players Reached: The second box, Players Reached is the number of players that have joined a game session.

  • Games Completed: The third box, Games Completed is the number (and percentage) of games that have reached the end screen. In the case it’s a two-player game, both players have had to reach the end screen of the game.

Below the three boxes, you will see a list of all Instant Game sessions for that Worskpace with details for each session.

The details of the game you will see from left to right are:

  1. The image of the game and title

  2. The date the game session was started on (note: this is not the date the game was published).

  3. The number of players that have joined that game session.

  4. The status of the session, a game session can have one of the following statuses:

  • Scheduled: when games have multiple roles, it's possible that not all players have joined for each role. In such cases, the game session stays Scheduled until all roles are filled.

  • Running: when all players have started playing a game, then the session gets a Running status.

  • Completed: when all players completed their game (reached the ending screen), then the game is considered Completed.

If you click on one of the sessions, you can see the progress of that session.

At the very top, you will see the title of the game, the team. In the case of Instant Sessions, there is always one team, but for Custom Sessions you are able to move from team to team. Remember the teams have been arranged previously when you created the custom session.

Below, you will see the roles of the game and the name and email of the user that’s playing that role.

Below that you will see each screen of the game, when a screen is highlighted in green it means that the user has already completed it and you’re able to see how they performed in each task, what they chose as an option, or the video or photo they uploaded.

If there are points assigned for the screen, they will be shown on the upper right-hand side of that screen.
