In Gamoteca you have the option to duplicate a game and create a copy for backup or just to recreate another version of the game.

In some instances you may want to duplicate your game in order to share it only with specific editors or players.

Duplicating a game in Gamoteca is very simple. Go to the games list section and find the game you want to duplicate. Click on the context menu icon on the top right corner and hover your mouse over the Duplicate to option.

As a next step, you can select which Workspace you want to copy your game into.

After a few seconds, the game gets copied to the selected workspace with the title 'Copy of ' applied to the title of your original game.

The changes made to the original game will not be reflected in the copied game after duplication. Adding a date in the name of your game can be helpful to identify different versions.

Make copies of the games available on your personal workspace, and use them as templates to create new games.
