Workspaces are one of the key features of Gamoteca Pro, with them you’re able to create private spaces to collaborate on game creation with the users that you want. Workspaces are also really useful because they allow you to invite users to play a game.

1. To add a new Workspace, click on the “+” button in the right hand side column. After you have created the Workspace the Manage Workspaces page will appear automatically and you will be able to customize it.

2. In the first tab Workspace settings, you’re able to change the name of the Workspace (by clicking on the pencil icon next to the name of the team) and add a logo (hover your mouse over the picture and click on the camera icon) and choose the Team the Workspace is assigned to (If you have a Gamoteca Pro account, you will only see one team).

Members of a Workspace differ from Team members because their only role is to create and share games, as opposed to managing information about the team members, billing, etc.

Go to the Workspace settings by clicking on the cog icon.

Click on the second tab, Members, then click on the upper “+ Invite new member”.

In the new dialog box, write the email of the user you want to invite and choose the role of the new user, they are the following:

After invited users get registered as users in Gamoteca, they will see your workspace on their left workspaces bar (in case they are Editors or Admins) and be able to edit the games in that workspace.

Invited players will see published games of the workspace in the Gamoteca Player app.
