The basics of Gamoteca Pro

If your company or team is looking to create game-based learning in a collaborative way and share them at scale with learners Gamoteca Pro is right for you.

With Gamoteca Pro you get access to all the features of Free Gamoteca and additionally:

  • Gain access to collaborative Workspaces to co-create and publish with teammates

  • Do more at scale - Create and publish more games, with more game creators and reach more learners.

Let’s take a closer look at all the features you get.

Team Management

Team Account

By upgrading to Gamoteca Pro or Enterprise, you create a Team account for your company where you can manage:

  • Billing details for the account

  • Workspaces for your team (see below)

  • Invite Team Account managers and billing admins

Team Members

Team members help to manage and administer the account and are not necessarily involved in game design or publishing. They help with allocating Workspaces to teams and manage the Billing details for the account. The types of roles that Team Members can have:

  • The owner is in charge of managing the team, manage the users within a team, and managing the billing details.

  • The manager is in charge of managing users (meaning users who are able to create games and play games) and manage the billing details.

  • The billing admin is only in charge of managing billing details.

Workspaces

A Gamoteca Workspace is a shared Gamoteca “folder” in which users are able to design, create, and publish games. You can use Workspaces to organise games by projects, teams, e.g. you can have an “Onboarding” workspace, where you manage all the games for team onboarding.

In addition to your Personal Workspace, you get the following collaborative Workspaces:

  • Gamoteca Pro - 3 Workspaces

  • Gamoteca Enterprise - Unlimited Workspaces

Workspaces Members

A Workspace is composed of all the users you invite to collaborate for game creation. You are able to invite up to X users per Workspace to collaborate on game Design and Publishing.

The types of roles you can have in a Workspace:

  • Admin: the invited member will be able to edit games in the workspace, edit the workspace name and image, and invite new members.

  • Editor: the invited member will be able to edit games in the workspace.

  • Player: the invited member will only be able to play the games in the particular workspace in the Gamoteca Player app.

Note: You can invite Admins and Editors who are outside of your company or team to collaborate with you on game design and publishing through Workspaces.

Games

The number of games in the Workspaces is linked to your subscription:

  • Gamoteca Pro users are able to create up to 10 games per Workspace, which means they are able to create 30 games in total across the Team account.

  • Gamoteca Enterprise users have no limit on the number of games they can create.

Number of learners

The number of learners you can invite in a Workspaces is linked to your subscription:

  • Game Pro users can invite up to 500 players per Workspace. .

  • Gamoteca Enterprise users have no limit on the number of learners they can invite.

Analytics

With Gamoteca Pro, you have access to Advanced Game Analytics, game creators are able to gain insights on learner engagement to iteratively improve game design.

Pricing

The pricing for Gamoteca Pro is £85 per month billed annually (£1,020 total per year) plus VAT if applicable. If you prefer to pay monthly, the price for Gamoteca is £100 plus VAT.

Gamoteca Enterprise pricing depends on the organisation size and needs. With Gamoteca Enterprise, we can also add LMS integration to update progress information.
