Selecting a Project Manager for the Project:
Any task that has been completed by an assigned resource, has to be verified. In most cases this is done by the assigned project manager on the project.
In order to facilitate that, we have set up a configuration in the Schedule Properties Page.
A new field 'Project Manager' is displayed below the deadline field as shown in the mockup.
The file owner is set up as the project manager by default in the trial period.
If they choose to set up a different project manager, they click on the field.
The drop down displays a list of all licensed users. Only one user can be picked as a project manager.
From now on, as soon as the task is completed. the resource set as project manager receives a notification to verify the task.
Note: They will also receive a reminder notification if a task is not verified. (in next 2 days)
The info icon next to the Project Manager label, on hover shows the information
"The owner is selected as the project manager by default. The Project Manager is responsible to verify the completed tasks and will be notified on task completion' Only a licensed user can be set as a Project Manager'
