Please watch this help video which demonstrates how to set the working days to non-working days and Non-working days to working days. It also goes over how to create and assign new calendars to resources, projects, and boards. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

When you create a new project, you'll find three default calendar options to choose from. But you can also create as many custom calendars as you need to fit your project's unique requirements.

First, go to the Calendar view by clicking on the calendar tab. Next, click on an empty row, and type in a name for your calendar, then hit the enter button. Next, click the number next to your calendar's name to open the calendar properties. Here, you can customize working times, create custom work weeks, and specify which days are working days.

To switch a working day to a non-working day, you can make a new exception. For this example, we'll make an exception for Veteran's Day. Select the date using the Start field. The day will turn from white to red in the calendar, marking it as a non-working day.

You can also create custom work weeks, and add custom working times on specific days. For this example, we'll make a custom work week for the week of Thanksgiving. Set the start and end dates in the respective fields. Now, click the orange details button. Here, you can set certain days to nonworking time, or set custom times to work on those days. For this example, we'll set Thursday and Friday to non-working days. We'll also set a custom time on Wednesday, where the working day will end at 2PM, instead of the usual 5PM. Click OK once done. Now, you'll see the changes you made, reflected in the calendar.

Now let's assign our calendar to a resource. In your project's resource view, locate the 'Base Calendar' column. By default, it's set to the standard calendar. Click the dropdown to see a list of all the calendars you've created. Select your custom calendar, and it will be assigned to the resource, ensuring they follow the correct working times and non-working days.

In Gantter, you can also assign specific calendars to Plan Boards. Navigate to the Calendar settings via the menu, and choose the calendar that best fits your plan. Board columns will show nonworking days as red columns, based on your calendar settings.
