As with all investing, there are additional transaction and investment costs. The maintenance fee is charged on all investment holdings to cover the custody and administration of your account.

For example, if you have £1000 invested, fees are calculated as follows:

£1000 x 0.03% = £0.30 Maintenance fee

You can see a breakdown of monthly fees on the app by navigating to Menu > Fees.

If you have funds held as “Available Cash” the fee will be collected from there. If not, the fees are collected by selling down securities.

Some investment funds have their own charges levied by the fund managers, which are charged at source and reflected in your investment valuation. Underlying fund manager’s fees are available in the KIIDs on our website and at BlackRock.com.
