What is a business account?

Updated over a week ago

A business account is a specialised type of investment account designed for businesses, organisations, and corporate entities. Unlike a personal account, which is tied to an individual investor, a business account is owned and operated by a legal business entity such as a Limited Company (Ltd) or Private Limited Company (PLC).

A business account allows companies to:

  • Invest company funds in Gather Being investment products

  • Execute trades on behalf of the corporate entity rather than a personal investor
