What is Check-In?
Check-In is a feature that will help you know the number of players/teams who are ready and willing to participate in your tournament. Therefore, we recommend activating this option. When this option is activated, a "Check-In" button will appear in the tournament page's "Tournament Timeline" section to control the opening/closing of this feature for the players/teams.
When this feature is activated, players/team leaders will be allowed to click on the "Check-In" button, and when they do so, a green checkmark will appear next to their name on the "Manage Participants" page for those who have confirmed their attendance through the "Check-In" feature.
This will enable you to prepare the match schedule accordingly. It's important to note that only the participants who have confirmed their attendance through the "Check-In" feature will be included in the match schedule (Bracket). Therefore, all participants should be reminded to confirm their attendance through the "Check-In" feature so they can be added to the match schedule.
Steps to (Manually) activate/deactivate Check-In:
Go to the tournament settings.
Navigate to the "Tournament Progress" page.
You will find the "Check-In" button there. From there, you can activate or deactivate it immediately.
Steps to (Automatically) activate/deactivate Check-In:
Go to the "tournament settings" page.
Click on the "Participants Settings" or "Participant Settings" option.
Click on the checkbox next to the "Check-In" option to activate the feature.
Specify the number of minutes before the tournament starts time that you want to activate the Check-In feature.
*For example, if the tournament starts at 6 pm and you want to activate the feature at 5 pm, add 60 minutes to the activation time.
