Double Elimination is similar to Single Elimination to some extent, but the main difference is that Double Elimination allows the loser another chance to continue participating in the tournament in the "losers" bracket, where the losing team must lose again in the "losers" bracket in order to be eliminated from the tournament. This format is commonly used in official tournaments most of the time.
