Here are some precautions you should take before starting your trip:
- Wearing a helmet: although it is not mandatory, but we strongly recommend wearing.
- Bicycle saddle: adjust the height of the saddle using the supplied handle, lifting it to unlock the saddle. Once you have adjusted the desired height, hold the saddle in place and press the handle to return it to its original position. Don't hesitate to push and pull on the saddle to make sure it's locked, after all, you don't want it to fall off while riding!
You share the road with other road users, so be sure to ride your bike respectfully:
- Traffic: you can ride on bike paths if the road is with them, or share the road with other vehicles. It is forbidden to ride on the sidewalk or in parks, which are reserved for pedestrians.
- Rules of the road: a bicycle is a vehicle, so you must follow the rules of the road just like other drivers. Observe the direction of traffic, priority rules and traffic lights.
