How to Deposit with PayNow

How can I make a deposit via PayNow on GemBet?

  1. Choose "PayNow" as your deposit method.

  2. Select or enter the amount you want to deposit. The minimum deposit is SGD 30.

  3. First-time PayNow users may be asked to enter their full name exactly as it appears on their bank account.

  4. Copy the Phone Number, UEN or VPA shown on the deposit page.

  5. Open the PayNow section of your banking app and complete the transfer.

  6. Return to GemBet.

  7. After the 5-second countdown, press I’ve Transferred.

  8. Once your request is submitted, you’ll see a deposit confirmation message.

Once you hit that button, we’ll start processing your deposit.


What is the processing time for a PayNow deposit?

Processing usually takes 5–10 minutes.

If your deposit has not appeared after 10 minutes, check your bank transaction history and contact support with a screenshot of the completed transfer.


What is the minimum PayNow deposit?

The minimum deposit is SGD 30.

Is there a maximum PayNow deposit limit?

Yes. The maximum deposit is SGD 50,000.


How do I view the PayNow transfer details?

  1. Select or enter your deposit amount.

  2. Enter your full name if requested.

  3. The Phone Number, UEN or VPA and Account Name will appear on the deposit page.

  4. Use the copy button to copy the required details.


Why am I being asked to enter my full name?

First-time PayNow users may be asked to enter their full name exactly as it appears on their bank account.

This helps deposits get credited faster.

After your name has been registered, the field will no longer appear on future PayNow deposits.


I entered one amount but transferred a different amount. What should I do?

Take a screenshot of the completed transfer showing the actual amount.

Contact support for assistance. You do not need to transfer the money again.


Is my bank supported for PayNow deposits? 🏦

Supported banks for SGD PayNow deposits include:

  • DBS/POSB

  • UOB

  • OCBC

  • HSBC

  • Maybank

  • Standard Chartered

  • Citibank

  • Trust Bank

  • RHB

  • GXS Bank

  • Bank of China

  • Industrial and Commercial Bank of China

  • MariBank


Can I use SingCash, GrabPay, Google Pay or PayLah!?

No. Transfers through SingCash, GrabPay, Google Pay or PayLah! are not supported.


Are third-party deposits allowed?

No. Deposits must be made from a bank account in your own name.


Do I need to verify my bank account before making a PayNow deposit?

No. Bank-account verification is not required for PayNow deposits.


What happens if my bank is undergoing maintenance?

A maintenance notice may appear on the PayNow deposit page when a supported bank is temporarily unavailable.

Deposits made during maintenance may be delayed or unsuccessful. Use another available bank or payment method when possible.


Why can’t I create another PayNow deposit request?

A 4-minute cooldown applies after each PayNow deposit request.

Once the cooldown has ended, you can create another request, even if the previous request is still being processed.


What alternative deposit methods can I use?

Other available deposit methods may include:

  • Surepay

  • Crypto

  • Voucher

The currently available options will be shown in your GemBet cashier.


Where can I check my deposit status?

Your deposit status will appear on the confirmation screen and may also be displayed in the Deposit Tracker.

If your deposit has not appeared after 10 minutes:

  1. Check your banking app and transaction history.

  2. Refresh the GemBet page or log out and back in.

  3. Contact support with:

    • A screenshot of the completed transfer

    • The transaction date and time

    • The deposit amount


I completed the transfer but forgot to press “I’ve Transferred.” What should I do?

  1. Return to Deposit → PayNow.

  2. Enter the amount you transferred.

  3. Follow the PayNow deposit steps.

  4. Press I’ve Transferred after the countdown.

You do not need to transfer the money again.


Troubleshooting PayNow Deposits

Different banking apps may handle PayNow details differently. Follow the information shown on the GemBet deposit page carefully.


Handling the UEN and reference code

Always copy the full PayNow details shown on GemBet.

If your banking app has a separate Reference field, enter the reference code there.

If there is no separate field, follow the format shown on the GemBet deposit page.


Input-length errors

Do not remove or shorten any part of the PayNow details shown on GemBet.

If your banking app rejects the details, take a screenshot of the error and contact support before completing the transfer.


Uppercase and lowercase letters

Enter letters exactly as displayed.

If your banking app only accepts uppercase letters, use uppercase when entering the code.


Copy-and-paste formatting issues

Some banking apps may reject spaces or special characters added during copying.

Check that the PayNow details match what is displayed on GemBet before completing the transfer.
