We understand there are concerns about how products created by AI may be misused. Generated Photos will not produce documentary photography or video. We believe news footage, family photos, photos from crime scenes, or other protected use cases must be kept strictly documental. Generative media must be kept independent of documentary media. We are encouraged to see that multiple companies are currently building technology that certifies authenticity — a rubber stamp analog for the 21st century.
