Unlike other image generators, Human Generator doesn't require lengthy prompts. You can access the controls for creating a synthetic human on the left panel. The panel has three tabs:

  • Describe — here, you can change the appearance of your human (age, gender, hairstyle, clothes, etc.) and choose the background.

  • Pose — this tab features a gallery of poses that you can use.

  • Upload face — here, you can add a real face to the generated human.

Describe

Go to the Describe tab to adjust the look of your human and select the background.

  1. Use this button to generate a random human.

  2. This button resets all the current settings. Use it if you want to create a human from scratch.

  3. This field shows your human's current settings. The ones that appear as labels are the manually set parameters (5). You can also enter prompts in this field. You can quickly change the setting by clicking on a label.

  4. This is the field where you can enter negative prompts.

  5. Use these radio buttons, sliders, and drop-down lists to define what you want to see in the resulting image. The complete list of parameters is longer than what you see in the screenshot. Scroll down to get to the rest of the settings. You can define:

    • Gender

    • Age

    • Skin tone

    • Ethnicity

    • Body type

    • Clothing style

    • Clothing color

    • Clothing top

    • Clothing bottom

    • Clothing outerwear

    • Clothing underwear

    • Footwear

    • Accessory

    • Background

    • Hair style

    • Hair color

  6. Use this button to generate another human with the same settings. If you see Update human instead of Generate variation, you've changed one or several settings but haven’t applied them yet. Press the button to do so.

To unset a parameter:

  • Click x next to the label name in the description field.

    OR

Click clear next to the parameter name (see the figure below).

TIP: If you’re not getting what you want repeatedly, ensure you’ve correctly set or unset the parameters. It might happen that you are trying to dress up your human in a luxury evening dress, but the Clothing style parameter is still set to Hipster. Always make sure that none of the settings contradict each other.

Pose

In the Pose tab, you can choose the required posture. Free users can access a limited number of poses. A paid plan offers all poses and the option of uploading pose references.

Use the drop-down lists to switch between poses for different genders and ages, and choose the one you like.

If you set your human’s gender in the Describe tab, for example, to Male and choose a female pose, you’ll see a pose-gender mismatch warning.

Human Generator will still generate a human, but the results are usually better when gender and pose settings match. However, you are free to experiment with any parameter combinations.
