The Products Dashboard provides a variety of real-time statistics about the products of an ongoing project. These statistics server as an insight for the client and their data analysis teams, allowing adjustments of current price rates for products, and enabling improved planning and preparation for future projects. The Products Dashboard consists of three sections: the Products List section, and two Products Sales By Vendor sections.

Products List Section

The Products List section contains a listing of all products registered on the project, categorized by their respective categories. The section enables the user to filter the statistics by product and by category, allowing the calculation and viewing of the statistics for one or more products, and one or more categories (and their contained products). By default, the statistics are calculated and shown for all products registered on the project. The screenshot below shows how the Products Sales By Vendor sections are updated to show the statistics of the selected products.

Products Sales By Vendor Sections

The two Products Sales By Vendor sections show a variety of statistics about all the products registered on the project. The user can navigate through the products by scrolling up and down in the section. Additionally, the user can navigate through the vendors by scrolling left or right in the section. For each vendor

The first Products Sales By Vendor section (top section) shows the following three pieces of data for each product: Quantity (Sum), Unit Price (Average), and Total.

Quantity (Sum) is the total amount of units sold of a given product by a given vendor.

Unit Price (Average) is the average price at which a unit of a given product is sold by a given vendor.

Total is the total monitory amount[1] of the units sold of a given product by a given vendor.

In the screenshot below, the system is showing the Quantity, Unit Price and Total values for the Salt Altunsa product, for the vendor Vendor 2. These values tell us the following:

That the vendor sold 605 units of the product, at an average price of $0.185 per unit; the total amount of money owed[2] to the vendor for their sales of that product is $112.

The second Products Sales By Vendor section is a graphical representation of the product sales information mentioned above, namely: the Quantity (Sum), the Unit Price (Average) and the Total. Each of these three pieces of information has a separate bar graph that shows its sales data by vendor. Each product has a single bar in each of the three graphs. The user can show the sales data of a given product by placing the mouse cursor over its bar on a given graph. When the user places their mouse cursor on any particular product's bar in a given graph, the system shows a popup window that contains the product's name and a list of vendors, with the relevant value next to each vendor (depending on the graph).

In the screenshot below, the system is showing the Unit Price (Average) value for all vendors for the product Carrots. In the second screenshot, the system is showing the total monitory amount of product Mint for all vendors.

[1] An approximation of this value can be calculated by the multiplication of the Quantity (Sum) value and the Unit Price (Average) value.

[2] This value is not relevant to whether the amount has been paid or not.
