The Vendors Dashboard provides a variety of real-time statistics about the vendors of an ongoing project. The vendors dashboard allows the user to monitor the sales and payments of each vendor as well as the total amount of sales and payments so far made. The Vendors Dashboard consists of the following sections: Vendors List Section, Sales vs Payments Section, and Totals Section.

Vendors List Section

The Vendors List section contains a listing of all vendors registered on the project. The section enables the user to filter the statistics by vendor, allowing the calculation and viewing of the statistics for one or more vendors. By default, the statistics are calculated and shown for all vendors registered on the project.

Filtering Statistics

To filter the statistics on the Sales vs Payments and the Totals Sections and show them only for one vendor, the user should click on the name of the vendor from the Vendors List Section. To show the statistics for two or more vendors, the user should click on the Multi-Select button, and then select the desired vendors. To clear the filter, the user should click on the Clear Filter button.

Sales vs Payments Section

This section is a bar chart, where each bar represents a particular statistical value for a vendor. The chart shows two values for each vendor; the first value is Balance, which is the total amount still owed to the vendor by the client. The second value is Total Payments, which is the total amount so far paid to the vendor. The user can display the Balance and the Total Payments of a particular vendor by placing the mouse cursor on top of the bar that represents the vendor in the bar chart. In the screenshot * below, the vendor Vendor 4 has received payments totaling at $35.5K, and currently has no balance (meaning that the client paid all its liabilities to the vendor).

Totals Section

The purpose of this section is to give the client an overview of the project’s current financial standing. The section shows three statistics in a bar chart: Total Invoices, Total Vendor Payments, and Total Balance. Total Invoices is the total amount of sales so far made by all vendors in the project. The Total Vendors Payments is the total amount so far paid to the vendors. Total Balance is the total amount owed by the client to all vendors. The user can display all the values by placing the cursor on any of the bars in the chart. In the screenshot below *, the mouse cursor is placed on the bar representing Total Balance, and the system is showing all three values in a pop-up window.
