We're excited to share that EDGEauditor Resorts v7.0.0 is on its way! This release brings a significant redesign of the Reports module, including improvements to the Manager Dashboard and the Resorts app. The planned release date is April 7th.
✨ What’s New
Manager Dashboard:
A refreshed, easier-to-navigate design for reviewing and approving reports.
A simpler way to create and manage your report templates.
All staff types can now be added as question options in report templates
Missing report alerts have been redesigned - it's now much easier to set up alerts and choose when they should trigger.
Approval groups for reports are now managed directly inside the Reports module (no more hunting around!).
For the time being, approval groups for Terrain Parks are still managed via the separate 'Approval Groups' section.
Report submissions can now be printed to PDF.
Each report template now supports up to 5 custom filter questions, making it easier to find submissions.
Note: Custom filters are designed to work with submissions created after the April 7th release. Submissions made before this date may not be fully compatible if the associated questions and/or answers were previously modified. We plan to extend filter support to all submissions at a later time.
Diagrams update: Diagrams are now linked to specific report templates rather than stored in one central location. If you had diagrams uploaded previously, you'll need to attach them to the appropriate templates after the update. Please reach out to us at support@edgeauditor.com if you need help with this.
Resorts App:
Cleaner question layouts for a more comfortable experience filling out reports.
More reliable saving for reports that include images.
⚠️ Action Required
Save your reports to the cloud or submit them: Any reports currently in progress should be submitted or saved to the cloud. Anything saved only on your device (by choosing save option of Save Incomplete Report to This Device) will be removed when the app update is installed.
Update the app: Once the release happens, you will need to download and install v7.0.0 from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
If EDGEauditor manages your devices, the update will be pushed to you automatically - no action needed.
