Manager Dashboard: How to map trails

Before staff can conduct a trail build in the app, a supervisor must first create the trail in the Manager Dashboard.

  1. Log in to the Manager Dashboard at resort.edgeauditor.com.

  2. From the side navigation, go to Objects > Trails.

  3. Click the green New Trail button in the top-right corner.

  4. Fill in the trail details:

    1. Map: Draw the outline of your trail on the map. Double-click to finish the shape.

    2. Name: Enter a name for the trail.

    3. Category: Select a category. If the right category doesn't exist yet, add it first (see Creating Trail Inventory Categories).

    4. Area: Assign the trail to an area if applicable. Areas group trails into operational sectors.

    5. Notes: Add any relevant notes (optional).

  5. Hide/Temporarily Disable from the data entry APP: Check this box to hide the trail from the Incident Report and Add Trail Build modules.

  6. Trail contains features: Check this box to make the trail available for conducting a build via the Add Trail Build module.

  7. Click Create Trail.
