From time to time, your resort may host temporary special events. Just like your lifts, ski runs, and other terrain, these events introduce additional risk to your resort. To help you manage that risk, EDGEauditor includes a Special Events module where you can log event features, signage, and more. If you've used the Park Build module before, this process will feel familiar.
Set Up Event Feature Categories
Before you can build out a special event, you'll need to create at least one event feature category. Categories help you organize and identify the different types of features you'll be logging.
From the side navigation, select Special Events, then select the Event Feature Categories section.
Select the New Category button.
Enter the information for your new category, then click Add Category.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each category you need.
Create a Special Event
Once your categories are set up, the next step is to create your special event.
From the side navigation, select Special Events. By default, you will land on the Events page.
Click the New Event button.
Enter a name for your event, select the date it takes place and choose the status (active or inactive; inactive events will be hidden from the Resorts app), then click Create Event.
Manage Special Events
After a special event build has been submitted from the app, you can manage it directly from the Manager Dashboard on the Events page.
Modifying a submitted event
Select the hyperlinked event name to open it.
If you make any changes, simply click the Save button.
To add a file or attachment to an event
Click the Add Attachment button.
Locate the file saved on your computer and then add it to the event.
Once your file is uploaded you do not need to select save.
To download or delete a file attached to event, select the appropriate icon next to the attachment name.
