Manager Dashboard: Lift module setup

Before liftees can start logging stoppages in the app, your lifts and stop reasons need to exist on the manager dashboard. This guide walks through both setup steps so your team is ready to run the lift timer.

EDGEauditor has a built-in lift timer you can run on a mobile device right in your lift hut to track how many stoppages you have - and why. Whether it's an unload ramp set too high or not enough staff at the load terminal, the Lift Stop module helps you improve uptime and the guest experience.

Complete the dashboard setup first - the app needs your lifts and stop reasons in place before liftees can start logging.

Step 1: Lift setup

  1. From the side navigation, select Features > Lifts and then select the Lift Categories section.

  2. Select the New Lift Category button.

  3. Enter the name of your lift category (for example, Quad) and click Save. Repeat for each additional lift category you need.

  4. Once your categories are set up, select the Lifts section and click the New Lift Button.

  5. Map the lift, give it a name, and assign it to one of the categories you created. Repeat for each lift.

Step 2: Lift stop reasons

With your lifts in place, add the reasons your team will choose from when a lift stops.

  1. From the side navigation, select Lift Log > Lift Stop Reasons > New Lift Stop Reason.

  2. Enter the reason (for example, Too many to a chair) and click Save. Repeat for each reason you want available.

Tip: Keep reasons short and specific. They become the categories in your reporting, so the clearer they are, the easier problem areas are to spot later.

You're now ready to use the Lift Stop module in the app.
