From time to time you'll need to remove someone's access to EDGEauditor - a staff member leaves your organization, or a seasonal worker finishes up for the winter and won't be back until next season.

In both cases, suspend the user rather than deleting them. A suspended account keeps its permissions and user profile exactly as they were, so reinstating access later takes a single click. No rebuilding profiles, no reassigning permissions.

How to suspend a user's access to EDGEauditor

  1. From the side navigation, select User Management > Users.

  2. By default, you will land on the Active Users tab.

  3. Use the Search box to quickly locate the user.

  4. Select the red Suspend button located on the far right. You'll see a confirmation message once it's applied.

That user can no longer log in to EDGEauditor with their credentials.

Reinstating a suspended user

  1. From the side navigation, select User Management > Users.

  2. By default, you will land on the Active Users tab. Select the Suspended Users tab.

  3. Use the Search box to quickly locate the suspended user.

  4. Select the green Activate User button next to that user in the table. Their previous permissions and user profile are restored automatically.
