Suspending Users

From time to time you may need to suspend a user’s access to EDGEauditor. Examples include the staff member is no longer employed with your organization, or to temporarily suspend access for seasonal workers if that employee only works during the winter months.

The second example is why we suspend users rather than delete them. This way you can quickly reinstate their access at any time with the same permissions they had at the time their account was suspended.

Suspending User Access to EDGEauditor

  1. From the side navigation select User Management > Active Users.

  2. You can use the Search box to quickly locate a user.

  3. Once you’ve found the user you want to suspend select the SUSPEND icon next to that user. You will receive a confirmation message once selected. That user will no longer be able to login to EDGEauditor with their credentials.

Reinstating Suspended Users

  1. From the side navigation select User Management > Suspended Users.

  2. You can use the Search box to quickly locate a user.
