Choosing your diagram type
When you reach a diagram question in a report, you'll be prompted to choose one of three options:
Take Photo: Take a new photo using your device's camera
Upload Image: Select an existing photo saved on your device
Prebuilt Diagram: Choose from a set of pre-existing diagrams built into the report (if available)
Marking up your diagram
Once you've made your selection, the diagram drawing window will open. Your image will automatically resize to fit the screen.
Icon / Button | What It Does |
✏️ Pencil | Choose your markup tool - freeform drawing, shapes, lines, arrows or text |
🔴 Color Circle | Change the colour of your markup (red by default) |
🖌️ Paintbrush | Adjust the size of your markup tool |
Fill Checkbox | Fill a shape with your chosen colour |
Undo | Remove your last markup |
X (Clear All Progress) | Erase all markups made since your last save |
X (in red banner) | Exit the diagram screen without saving |
Save | Save your markups and return to the report |
Delete Diagram | Remove the diagram entirely and return to the report |
Important notes regarding diagram functionality
Markups are permanent once saved. You won't be able to edit or remove individual markups after saving. If you need to start over, select Delete Diagram.
Using EDGEauditor in a web browser? If you're accessing EDGEauditor at browser.edgeauditor.com, only the Prebuilt Diagram and Upload Image options are available. The camera option is not supported on the browser version.
