There are two ways guests can access and complete a waiver: through the app on a tablet at your location, or through a web browser on their own device.
Option #1: Tablet option
Guests can complete waivers on tablets set up at your location using the EDGEauditor Waivers app.
To set up the app:
Download the EDGEauditor Waivers app from the https://download.edgeauditor.com/
Once installed, configure each tablet with the location code and authorization key.
The location code is the same code you use when you login to the Resorts App or Manager Dashboard
The authorization key can be found by by selecting Waivers > Manage Stations from the side navigation within the Manager Dashboard. From the list, select the waiver station you are trying to configure on the device. Scroll until you reach the Authorization Key section.
Your tablets are now ready for guests to use.
Option #2: Web browser
Guests can also complete waivers from their own phone or computer using a web browser.
The unique link for a waiver station can be found by selecting Waivers > Manage Stations from the side navigation within the Manager Dashboard. From the list, open the waiver station you need a link for. Scroll until you reach the Authorization Key section. The unique URL will be located directly to the right of it.
β οΈ Supported browsers only: The browser version of EDGEauditor Waivers works with Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, and Safari. If a guest tries to use an unsupported browser, they'll see a message directing them to one of these four options.
Guest Privacy Protection
If a waiver is left idle for 1 minute, a timeout prompt will appear on screen. If the guest doesn't interact within 10 seconds, the waiver will automatically reset - clearing any information entered and returning to the main waiver selection screen. This protects guests' personal information if a tablet is left unattended.
π‘ Note: This feature is available on the tablet app version only.
The Waiver Selection Screen
Whether guests are using the app or the browser version, the first thing they'll see is the waiver selection screen, which displays all waivers attached to your waiver station.
How it works:
Any images or instructions for your waiver station will appear at the top of the screen.
Guests tap or click a waiver image to select it.
If you offer more than one waiver, guests can select multiple at once - they'll only need to enter their contact information one time and it will apply to all selected waivers.
Once a waiver is selected, guests select Get Started to begin.
π‘ Need to reconfigure your waiver station? Tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen to enter a new location code or auth key.
Individual vs. Family Waiver
After the waiver selection screen, guests will choose whether they're completing an individual or family waiver.
| Individual Waiver | Family Waiver |
Best for | A single guest or minor with a parent/guardian. | Multiple guests completing waivers together. |
Requirements | If the guest is a minor, a parent or guardian must be present to provide their information and sign. | All guests must live at the same address (if this information is being collected). If they don't, each person must complete an individual waiver. |
Minors | Parent/guardian must be present to sign. | Parent/guardian must be present to sign for any minors in the group. |
π‘ Note: If Only show Individual Waiver is selected for your waiver station, the family waiver option will be hidden. This feature is useful for cases where it does not make sense to offer the family waiver option, such as for races or other competitions.
