To move your cash ISA to a new provider, you'll need to start the process with them. They will handle the transfer directly with us.
Important things to know:
The transfer usually takes up to 15 business days to complete.
We can only transfer the full balance of your cash ISA, not a partial amount.
When requesting a transfer out with a different provider, please put 'full' next to previous and current years' subscriptions, even if you don't have any. This is due to our processes and other providers' forms.
List ClearBank as the provider when initiating your transfer.
If your new provider requires a postal request, they should use the following address:
βChip Financial Ltd., Sixth Floor, Fora, Montacute Yards, 186 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU.Once the transfer out has been successfully processed, Chip will close your cash ISA, and currently, you will be unable to open another one with Chip in the same tax year.
Where can I find my account details?
Please note: To see your account number and sort code, you'll need to make sure your Chip app is up to date and that you have a linked bank account.
Finding your account number and sort code is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
Open the Chip app and go to Savings.
Select your chosen account.
Tap Details in the top right-hand corner. This will display the account number and sort code for your selected account.
