We can help you transfer a cash ISA from another provider into your Chip Cash ISA. First, you'll need to have an open Chip Cash ISA. Once that's set up, you can start the transfer request in the app.

  1. On the Savings tab, select your Chip Cash ISA.

  2. Tap Transfer and then Transfer your ISA to Chip.

  3. Confirm the full balance of the ISA you want to move. We can only accept a full transfer, so you'll need to confirm the whole amount.

  4. Tell us how much you've deposited into your existing cash ISA this tax year.

  5. Select your current ISA provider from the list. If you can't see them, you can register your interest to let us know.

  6. Enter your account number and sort code, or the roll/reference number.

  7. Let us know if it's a regular cash ISA or a fixed-term cash ISA. If it's a fixed-term one, confirm the maturity date.

  8. Enter your address. Please make sure this is the same address that's on your existing ISA. It's okay if this is an old address; they just need to match.

  9. Review all the details to make sure they're correct. When you're ready, tap Confirm ISA transfer.

That's it! Your ISA transfer is now in progress and should be completed within 15 working days. You can check the progress at any time on the Savings tab in the Chip Cash ISA section. We will email you any updates regarding your ISA transfer.
