It can be a little worrying when your funds leave one account before they appear in the next, but rest assured, your money is safe.
When you transfer your cash ISA to us, the funds are held securely in a holding account for a few days while we finalise the transfer. During this time, they won't be reflected in your Chip app.
The funds will appear in your account within 3 working days of them leaving your previous provider. Your money is still FSCS-protected during this time.
If delays persist, it's often because your previous ISA provider hasn't provided us with all the details we need to process the transfer. We're on it, though! We send follow-up emails to chase up any missing items to help speed up the process.
