There are a few reasons why your autosaves might stop unexpectedly. Here are all of the most common causes for this:

  • Your debit card has expired or will within the next month.

  • You didn't have a sufficient balance at the time your autosave was generated.

  • Your autosave settings are preventing the save (e.g. your minimum balance and overdraft protection settings).

  • Your balance is significantly lower than usual (this can cause autosaves to generate on our end as less than £1, in which case we do not charge them).

  • You have not selected an account for your autosave to be allocated into (you can check this by going to Profile > Savings Plans > Auto-save Settings).

  • You have your autosaves allocated to go into an old account, such as Chip+1 which is no longer accepting deposits.

If you don't believe that any of these apply to you, please contact us by going to Profile > Contact Us or by emailing hello@getchip.uk.
