What is a Recurring deposit?

The Recurring deposit feature allows you to create up to four regular deposits into any of our investment funds or savings accounts except for the Chip Cash ISA. You have full control over how much and when you save, giving you the freedom to save the way you want.

To use this feature, you will just need to have a card and bank account linked to Chip in the Profile tab.

How do I set up a Recurring deposit?

You'll find the option to set up a Recurring deposit by opening the Profile tab and choosing Savings Plans.

Then tap the Recurring deposits option. Once in here, you can tap Add a recurring deposit and enter the deposit amount, account or fund you' would like this to go into and the frequency of the deposit.

Please note that the minimum amount you can set up is £10.

You won't be able to set a Recurring deposit to go into the Chip Cash ISA because we're unable to accept card deposits into this account and Recurring Deposits are taken from the linked debit card.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us via the in-app chat in the Profile tab or via email at hello@getchip.uk and we'll be happy to help.
