Assigning jobs to the right team members in CLARA ensures that your recruiters and hiring managers have visibility into the roles they're responsible for. This guide walks you through how to assign a job quickly and easily.
What you'll need before getting started
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Access to CLARA with Partner Admin or Account Owner permissions
At least one active job in CLARA
The team members you want to assign already added to your CLARA account
β οΈ Note: Only Partner Admins and Account Owners can assign jobs to team members. If you don't have the right access, contact your admin or our Partner Success team at success@getclara.io.
How to assign a job to your team
Log in to CLARA using your Partner Admin or Account Owner credentials.
Navigate to the Jobs section using the left navigation menu, or select a job from the Active Jobs section on your homepage. Click into the job you'd like to assign to arrive at its Job Details page.
From the Job Details page, click the More menu (three stacked dots) in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
From the dropdown, select Assign Job. A pop-up window will open where you can assign the job to your team members.
In the pop-up window, assign the job to a Recruiter and/or a Hiring Manager using the options provided. You can assign to one or both roles depending on your team structure.
Review the assignment details to make sure everything looks correct, then click Submit to finalize. CLARA will update the job and notify the assigned team members of their new responsibilities.

π‘ Make sure team members are set up before assigning β if someone isn't appearing in the assignment window, check that they've been added to your CLARA account under Settings β Users.

What if the person I want to assign doesn't appear in the list?
They may not have been added to your CLARA account yet. Go to Settings β Users to add them and assign the appropriate role, then return to assign the job.
Can I reassign a job after it's already been assigned?
Yes β simply follow the same steps above. Select the job, open the More menu, choose Assign Job, and update the assignment as needed.
