Create a Listing

A step-by-step guide to creating a new listing

Updated over 4 months ago

Note: Add new client(s) to the system first, before create a transaction you want to add them to.

How to Create a Listing:

  1. Click Create Transaction at the top of your home dashboard, or New Transaction at the top of your transactions tab.

  2. Input property details:

    1. If the property is in the MLS:

      • Enter the MLS# or address to search the system for your listing, then select the correct property from the generated list.

    2. If property is not in the MLS:

      • Skip the property field until later, or elect to 'enter manually' and fill in the details you wish.

      • Note: before publishing your listing, make sure it is linked to an MLS number to ensure buyer's agents can locate and submit offers seamlessly in the system.

  3. Select documents:

    • In document quick start, you can select multiple documents to add to the transaction at once. This is optional, and you can skip if desired by selecting nothing.

    • Check the boxes for the documents you wish to add and click Done.

  4. Add client(s):

    • Search for and select the client(s) you want to add to your listing, and set their identity to Seller Client.

    • You may choose to have the system send them an invitation to the listing now or skip it.

    1. Note: you can only add existing clients in this step, if you wish to add a new client you must do so from the Client tab first and then add them to a listing.

  5. Your transaction has been created! Now you can start filling out important documents and collaborating with your client.

    • Go to our article on Listing Documents for a detailed guide on adding, filling, and sending documents to clients for review and execution.
