Usage Reports in Get More Math

GMM's usage reports for teachers

The teacher usage report found on the REPORTS tab offers insights for student and class data.

*Only the primary teacher of a class will see the Usage Report for the class. Co-teachers will not have access to the reports.

**Usage reports update once per day and include the previous day's data. I.e. To view today's usage, a teacher will view the usage report tomorrow.

Report Settings

Teachers have access to class and student data from REPORTS in the blue ribbon.

A key in the upper right corner provides the colors for each highlighted metric.

Gray: Needs Improvement

Orange: Acceptable

Blue: Outstanding

Each metric has helper text that includes the expected percentages for the metric ratings.

More columns can be added by clicking on the Manage Columns button.

Each report can be downloaded. The download is a .csv file and could be downloaded at various points though out the school year for monitoring progress.

Each column in the report can be toggled by clicking on the column heading.

Classes

Class usage metrics include:

Students Last 30 Days: The number of students who attempted at least one problem in the last 30 days.

Students: The number of students in enrolled in active classes.

Problems Per Student: Average number of problems completed per enrolled student.

Active Skills: The number of skills currently active in Spiral Review.

Percent of Active Skills Proficient: The average of all students' individual proficiency scores. A student's proficiency is calculated by the ratio of proficient skills to all active skills in Spiral Review. Proficient skills are green, silver, or gold on the student screen.

Points from Spiral Review: The average of student points earned from Spiral Review. Points are earned for $ skills only. Students should earn at least 50% of their points from Spiral Review.

Skill Accuracy: The average of student accuracy values, which are based on the average of the accuracy of each skill (active or inactive) the student has ever attempted. A single skill's accuracy is the number correct on first attempts divided by the total number of first attempts.

Rotation Time: The median of all student rotation times. Student rotation time is the number of days since the student has correctly cycled through all active skills in Spiral Review.

Points Earned ($): The sum of $ skills answered correctly on first try for all students. This metric includes points from active, deactivated, and deleted skills and includes the points earned through the previous day.

Students

Student names can be ordered Last Name, First Name or First Name Last Name using the three dots next to Student.

Active Proficient Skills (Green +): The number of proficient skills in Spiral Review.

In Progress (Yellow): The number of skills in Spiral Review that have shown early (short-term) success and are moving toward proficient, but need more practice.

Not Proficient (Red): The number of skills in Spiral Review at a beginning level. These skills need more practice and possibly teacher assistance.

Untried: The number of skills in Spiral Review that this student has never attempted.

Percent of Active Skills Proficient: The ratio of the number of proficient skills to all skills using only active skills in Spiral Review. Proficient skills are green, silver or gold on the student screen.

Points from Spiral Review: The ratio of the points earned in Spiral Review to total points earned in both Spiral Review and Assignments for one class. 50% of a student's points should be earned in Spiral Review. Note: Points are earned for $ problems only.

Skill Accuracy: The average of the accuracy of each skill (active or inactive) the student has ever attempted in a class. A single skill's accuracy is the number correct on the first attempt divided by the total number of first attempts.

Problems Completed: The total number of problems the student has completed in this class. This metric includes problems completed from active, deactivated, and deleted skills.
